Designed with Intention
The Short Jane is our nod to hybrid ocean activewear and the evolution of women's surfsuits that can be worn in and out of the lineup. We wanted a piece that could dry quickly, be styled with our favourite oversize hemp tees or turtleneck crop rashy, channel our inner tomboy in the surf, transcend age demographics and chase after our grommets post-surf on a hot summer's day.
Handmade in Australia
Produced on the Gold Coast
This style is made by a boutique production team of Australian stretchwear industry veterans working from a woman-owned & operated business on the Gold Coast, QLD. We choose to manufacture many of our styles in Australia because we believe in responsible manufacturing and thoughtful design.
Our Swim is Made from Recycled Materials
For over seven years, we have chosen to source and use ECONYL® regenerated nylon in our surf garments. Why? ECONYL® uses synthetic waste such as industrial plastic, waste fabric, and fishing nets from oceans, then recycles and regenerates them into a new nylon yarn that is exactly the same quality as virgin nylon.
As a small business, we are a constant work in progress doing the best we can with the resources we have. And while we research and sample alternative materials to nylon-based textiles, we will continue to use this next best option of regenerated nylons.
