What a whirlwind five months it's been from that sit-down meeting mid-December with our Studio Tropico buddy and professional photographer, Ming Nomchong, to today: Easter Monday and posting pics of our recently opened permanent space, Sea Bones.
Renewable energy-powered and born from our coastal lifestyles and a need for responsible consumption, Sea Bones lives in the heart of Byron Bay's boutique Fletcher Street and showcases an inspiring collective of women-designers across several categories:
NEOPRENE | SURF | SWIM | APPAREL | SKIN | HOME
We have organic coffee from hinterland crew, Moonshine Coffee, brewing alongside beetroot lattes, golden milks, and slow-releasing butter coffees.
We have sustainable & responsible apparel brands from Opia Byron Bay (made using vegetable dyes), Surrounded By Ghosts (made in Australia), Buckley The Label (made in Australia), organic bamboo soft cup bralettes from Hara The Label and solar-powered intimates from Bimby & Roy.
Artist collaborations with Samudra, McTavish Surfboards, Le MU x Salt Gypsy. Independently published magazines from Surfistas Travelogue, Summersite and Herewith. Epokhe eyewear, handcrafted jewellery from One Sixteenth, petroleum & preservative free skincare ranges and vintage capsule collections from our mates at Brahminy Exchange and Sybil & Johnny.
We even have a shop pup, Nai'a (Ming's weimaraner):
So next time you're in Byron, swing by for a beet latte in the morning or beer o'clock in the arvo, have a yarn with our team of rad bitches and check out our curated collection of coastal lifestyle goods.
Danny & Ming xx
